Who We Are and What We Do
We are a family-owned independent food company that originally opened in a small shop in north London but then grew into an online business supplying customers throughout the UK and Europe.
Our original aim remains the same - to be a one-stop shop for every day essentials and hard-to-find ingredients at sensible prices. With an ever expanding range which is now the largest range of food ingredients available online in the UK we hope you feel that we are achieiving this aim, but if you have any ideas please do let us know!
The vast majority of our customers are people like you who enjoy cooking at home for family and friends but struggle to find the ingredients they need in local shops and supermarkets. We are also proud to supply many caterers, restaurants (including some of the finest Michelin starred restarurants in the UK), cookery schools and TV production companies - testament, we feel, to the quality of our products and customer service!
Where We Are
Our warehouse is based within an old Victorian pie factory in Islington in north London, and although we don't have a shop where customers can drop by to browse through our range of products, London-based customers are very welcome to order online and collect directly from our us - see this section for further details.
Visits to this address are strictly by appointment only as this is the address for our warehouse it is not a high street shop. All of our products can be viewed on our online shop, and purchases can be made online, but it isn't possible to visit us in person to browse products or buy any item from us in person.
However London-based customers are very welcome to collect goods from us that have been pre-ordered through our website, at a pre-arranged time - please see this section of our website for further details.
