Alemany Spanish Mountain Honey (Mel de Muntanya) - 500g

Alemany Mel de muntanya (Mountain Honey) in a handmade ceramic pot. This honey is collected in the mountains between 900 and 2000m. From holm oak, oak trees, pine flowers and other aromatic plants. The result is a honey that is soft on the tongue but with an intense and pleasant aromatic flavour.

Preserved by cold extraction (i.e. a raw, unpasteurised honey) so retains all of its nutrients. At the foot of Montsec mountain range in Catalonia, Spain, where rosemary bushes and almond trees grow, the Alemany family have been producing honey and turron for three generations. With their team of honey collectors and beekeepers they produce the finest Spanish honey.

The natural processes used to make this honey may lead to some crystallisation. If you prefer a more liquid honey, simply gently warm the jar in bain marie before use.
