Allspice Berries (Whole Allspice)

Allspice berries, also known as Jamaican pepper or pimento and not to be confused with mixed spice. It is called allspice as the taste is thought to resemble a combination of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and black pepper. A traditional ingredient in christmas cake and pudding, but also in Jamaican jerk seasoning.
