Burrata Pugliese

Burrata - only in the last few years has this wonderful, very soft, creamy cheese become available outside it's home of Puglia in southern Italy, but it is taking the UK by storm!

Handmade from stretched mozzarella that is formed into a pockets and then filled with a mix of fresh cream and shredded mozzarella. The result is much lighter and creamier than mozzarella.

Serve with a light salad or bread, perhaps lightly drizzled with a little olive oil  - when something is as delicious as burrata you can keep it simple.

Please note we purchase burrata to order for you so that it is as fresh as possible when you receive it so please allow plenty of time when ordering from us if you require it for a particular occasion.
