Corn Husks for Tamales

Corn Husks for making Mexican Tamales. In Mexico corn husks are used as food wrappers - use for steaming tamales, fish or cochinita pibil or wrap delicate food such as prawns for the barbeque.

To use simply soak in hot water for 15 minutes until the husk becomes pliable. Shake off the excess water and wrap your food into parcel shapes, tie the parcel with some torn corn husks then steam or barbeque.
