Fiasconara Artisan Hand-Wrapped Chocolate Panettone

Hand-wrapped chocolate chip panettone from artisan producer Fiasconara - very different from the mass-produced panettone you find in the supermarkets. This family run business first started in a small workshop in the village of Castelbuono in Sicily and is now run by the third generation of the family.

The secret of Fiasconaro panettone is allowing the cake dough to rise slowly over 3 days. The result is a light, moist panettone.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Butter, Eggs, Sugar, Chocolate Chips (10%) (Sugar, cocoa Paste, Cocoa Butter, Soya Lecithin), Egg Yolks, Natural Yeast, Hazelnut Paste (2%), Sicilan Honey, Inverted Sugar, Orange Puree (Pieces of Orange, Sugar, Lemon Juice concentrate), emulsifier (mono- and di-glycerides of fatty acids), Cocoa Butter, Powdered Skimmed Milk, Salt, Vanilla, Glaze (Albumen, Sugar, Ground Rice, Peach or Apricot Kernels, Starch, Flavourings, Bitter Cocoa), Granulated Sugar.
