San Marzano Organic Tomatoes - this large jar contains what are simply the finest preserved tomatoes available. These tomatoes are widely used in many of the best restaurants around the world including the River Cafe in London.

La Motticella in Apulia in Southern Italy is one of the few farms outside of Campania whose San Marzano Tomatoes thrive. These long shaped thick, sweet, juicy tomatoes are hand picked in August when they are soft and fully ripened.

The tomatoes are then peeled and bottled on the farm with some fresh basil leaves before being preserved using the traditional bain-marie method. They are so delicate and soft that they fall apart during cooking when pressed with the back of a wooden spoon. They taste wonderful straight from the jar too!
