Mokaflor Indian Moonsoned Robusta Coffee - When people and products were shipped to and from India from Europe, the journey could take months. In this time the coffee was exposed to the elements of the monsoons, giving it a slightly unusual taste and colour when it arrived in Europe. Today, the beans are allowed to ferment slightly in the damp monsoon air, making a full-bodied, mellow coffee with a delicate, subtly spicy aroma.

Mokaflor is an old established coffee roaster in Florence. In addition to importing and roasting the best coffee beans from around the world Mokaflor also run their own caffé in central Florence, in Chiasso Baroncelli, just off the Piazza Signoria.
