Olive Wood Carving Board

Olive Wood Carving Board - made from a single piece of olive wood, this gorgeous carving board is perfect for carving meats on, or for using as a serving board or presentation board. Try using this board for serving a selection of antipasti and bread - the natural graining in the olive wood makes this board really special, it is beautiful as well as practical.

Olive wood is very dense with a very close grain so is much more durable than woods that are more commonly used to make carving boards. It will not take on any liquids or smells from the food, nor will it transfer anything from the wood to the food.

This carving board is handmade in Tunisia from ancient Tunisian olive trees that have come to the end of their productive life, they are  all different and all bear the marks of their working. Trees are continually being replanted to replace ones used to produce our products.

Approx 40cm long and 2.5cm thick.
