Organic Italian Cherry Jam

Italian Organic Cherry Jam - simply organic cherries from the Emilia Romagna region of Italy and apple juice giving a jam that has a lovely clean, fresh taste of cherries. A classic for all types of bread, cakes and tarts, or gently heat and pour over vanilla ice-cream. Cherry jam goes well with blue cheeses and fresh Ricotta.

This jam is made by a cooperative based among green valleys of the mountains north of Turin. They have been producing organic products since 1990 using traditional home recipes derived from regional specialities. Their jams contain 70% fruit and are sweetened only with apple juice which is high in fructose and has a lower glycaemic index (GI) than other sugars.
