Pieropan, Soave Classico 2007

Pieropan, Soave Classico 2007 - the Garganega gives structure and acidity to the wines, while the Trebbiano di soave gives perfume and richness of flavour. Bright, very pale gold in colour, with youthful greenish lights. On the nose it is delicately perfumed with aromas of white flowers and the almondy notes characteristic of good soave Classico. 2007 was an excellent vintage, producing wines with a beautiful balance between ripe but restrained lemon/almond fruit and a lively zesty freshness. The lovely balance lasts through to the finish.
