Sambal Manis is a sweet Indonesian chilli paste. Chilli pastes (sambals) come in many flavour varieties, but Sambal Oelek and Sambal Manis are the most common types. Sambal Oelek is slightly spicy, whereas Sambal Manis is a sweeter chilli paste.
