Ground Sumac - the spice sumac is the berry of a bush that is native to the Mediterranean region, and its natural red colour and delicious citrus flavour add both a depth of flavour and colour to a wide variety of dishes and salads.

Sumac is a popular ingredient in Arabic and North African cooking and is also an essential ingredient for a popular Middle Eastern spice mix, Za'atar in which sumac is ground together with sesame seeds and thyme.
