Tortas de Aceite with Almonds (Sweet Spanish Olive Oil Biscuits with Almond)

Torta de Aceite are delicious, light and crispy traditional Spanish biscuits, made from wheat flour, extra-virgin olive oil, sesame seeds and aniseed. This almond variety are also sprinkled with chopped almonds - delciously more-ish.

The Gavino family have been making these biscuits for over 100 years and their method of making has not changed over that time. The dough for each biscuit is shaped by hand so that no two biscuits look exactly the same.
