Vacherin Mont D'Or

Vacherin Mont D'Or - this unique cheese is made only between October and April.  Vacherin is made from the rich, unpasteurised milk of alpine pastures, and has a melting, voluptuous texture, and a resinous flavour.

Also delicious served hot - pour a little wine into the centre of the cheese, wrap in foil and warm in the oven. Serve as a fondue with crusty bread or boiled potatoes.
