Chorizo Iberico Bellota - 150g, Whole
Chorizo Iberico Bellota - whole, unsliced chorizo made from the meat of the black-footed (pata negra) Iberian pigs who roam freely and feed on acorns in farms around the small town of Jabugo, in Huelva, Spain. A small town famous for the quality of its Iberico Bellota Ham.
The nuttiness of the acorns comes through in the meat and fat, and even better the fat is actually good for you as it is rich in oleic acid - just like olive oil! Simply slice and enjoy with a glass of wine or chilled sherry.
Please don't cook with this chorizo - you can but it would be such a waste, particularly when we also stock raw, cooking chorizo!
Current stock dated Nov. 2022 so there's lots of time to enjoy it! Store in a cool, dry place.
