Fontina DOP - a classic Italian cheese made with raw milk. Fontina has been made in the Aosta valley in the French-speaking Italian alps since the 12th Century. Rich and creamy, quite pungent with a fruity, grassy flavour .
Fontina is a great cutting cheese as part of a cheese board but it also melts well so is widely used in cooking and in fondue. Try also with our pizzoccheri buckwheat pasta to make a traditional Italian alpine dish.

Please note that we will try to cut your cheese as close to the weight you require as possible, but it it is impossible to very accurate so you will be charged for the actual weight sent to you.
