Gigli Pasta (sometimes also called Campanelle) - originally from Florence in Tuscany, these flower shaped pieces of pasta enriched with egg are made from small pasta cones with frilled edges to look like a lily, which is the symbol of Florence. Gigli means lilies in Italian and Campanelle translates as little bells.
Gigli are perfect for catching your favourite sauce inside and particularly good with heavier sauces or in stews.
