Instant Dry Yeast for baking in a large 500g bag - this Italian dried yeast from premium flour producer Molino Dallagiovanna. 

The yeast should be added to the dough during the mixing phase and the usual rule of thumb is to use when making bread is 1% dried yeast to flour, e.g. 10g of yeast per 1kg of flour. You can of course reduce the proportion of yeast which will mean that the dough takes longer to rise but you will be rewarded with more flavour. 

This yeast produces just as good results as fresh yeast and if your recipe calls from fresh yeast simply use half the weight of this active dried yeast.
