Aglio e Peperoncini (Spaghettata Piccante) traditional Italian spicy herb and spice mix - this classic mix of garlic, chillies and parsley from Tuscany has many uses: on pasta or mix with olive oil as a dip or marinade, or use as a seasoning for pasta sauces and stews.
Put a couple of teaspoons of this mix into a pan and lightly fry in olive oil for a couple of minutes. Cook some spaghetti in boiling water, drain and then toss into this mix. Serve with a sprinkling of parmesan and a little nutmeg.
