Jamon Iberico de Bellota, Hand Carved (Senorio)
Jamon Iberico de Bellota (DOP Extremadura) - one of the world's finest hams, hand carved from the slowly cured leg of a black-footed Iberian pig (Pata Negra) that has been fed on acorns for 10-12 weeks on the local dehesa. The hame is then cured in Badajoz for more than 3 years.
With it superb flavour this ham almost melts in your mouth. It has an intense aroma and complex lingering flavour of sweet nuttiness with salty depth.
N.B. As this ham must be kept chilled it is only suitable for express delivery to the mainland UK which excludes off-shore islands, remote areas and Northern Ireland.
