Sabarot Green Puy Lentils AOC - famous throughout the world and used by the greatest chefs, French puy lentils have an incomparable flavour which comes from the microclimate of the volcanic land where they are grown in the Velay area of France, close to the river Loire.
These small grey/green lentils are quick to cook without soaking and retain their shape and flavour when cooked without going mushy.
Serve them hot with poultry, meat or fish dishes, or add to soups and casserole. You can also serve these lentils cooked and cold in salads.
