Italian Alpine Flower Honey with a Drizzler attached - it is floral with a slightly aromatic note which makes it excellent to serve with cheese and is widely used as a sweetener for teas and infusions.
This honey is produced in Valle Maira, a beautiful, still wild and unspoiled valley that climbs from the Cuneo plain to the French border. Here in June, when the meadows are covered with colorful and fragrant flowers (yarrow, rhododendron, bellflower, wild thyme), bees collect honey with unique qualities. With a beige colour tending to amber, the mountain honey crystallises rather slowly, taking on a very pleasant consistency on the palate. Its floral and slightly aromatic note makes it one of the most popular and versatile honeys.
This raw honey is cold-processed so that it is rich in vitamins, minerals, enzymes and organic acids as well as natural antibacterial and antibiotic properties. Regular in-house inspections and independent certification authorities check the honey to guarantee the entire line from collection to the jar.
The Brezzo family have been collecting, processing and marketing honey for 70 years. Based in the Piedmont region of Italy among low mountains that provide a pure, pristine and unspoiled environment for the bees to produce naturally the finest quality honey.
