To use: wipe clean, remove the stem and shake out the seeds. Open flat and toast briefly ina dry frying pan until nutty smelling. Soak in just boiled water for 15 minutes, drain and puree then add the puree to soups, stews, sauces and salsas. Alternatively snip into rings to garnish dishes or keep whole to stuff.
