Salsa Tartufata (Truffle, Mushroom and Olive Sauce)
Tartufata is an outstanding paste that combines summer truffles, mushrooms and black olives. Use as a dressing for pasta or fish or as a topping for crostini. It can also be used as the base of a delicous porcini sauce for steak.
Made with truffles from the Apennines woodlands of Acqualagna in Umbria.
