Taleggio DOP Cheese, 500g
Taleggio - a large 500g whole Taleggio cheese. A semi-soft, rind washed cheese from Lombardia in Italy. The name comes from the area where the cheese was first made, Val Taleggio.
With its mild salty/sweet flavour Taleggio is a great cutting cheese as part of a cheese board but it also melts well so is widely used in cooking and is a useful substitute for Fontina.
Italian, Cows' Milk, Pasteurised, Non-Vegetarian.
