Zatarain's Yellow Rice
This savoury yellow rice mix is an exciting blend of flavours and spice that includes turmeric, onion and red pepper and is very simple to prepare. It cooks to fluffy perfection every time, and goes well with a wide range of meats and vegetables. Try it with chicken and asparagus or pork chops and green beans.
1. Mix 2 1/2 cups of water Rice Mix and 1 tbsp Butter or Margarine in a large saucepan until well blended.
2. Bring to the boil. Reduce the heat to low and cover
3. Simmer for 25 minutes or until the rice is tender
4. Remove from the heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
