Torrone Friabile - A festive classic from the heart of Lombardy, this large bar of Torrone Friabile is a deliciously crunchy Italian nougat made with honey and almonds. It captures the authentic flavour and texture of this much‑loved Christmas sweet.
According to local legend, torrone was first created in 1441 for the wedding of Francesco Sforza and Bianca Maria Visconti. The bride and groom were presented with a sweet made from honey, almonds, and egg white, shaped like the Torrazzo — the thirteenth‑century bell tower of Cremona Cathedral — from which the name torrone is thought to derive.
Also available in soft torrone morbido for those who prefer a tender bite.
