Friarielli, Southern Italian Greens with Garlic & Chilli - Known variously as rapini, broccoli rabe, broccoletti, or cime di rapa, friarielli is a leafy green vegetable beloved in southern Italy, Rome, and across the Mediterranean. With its tender stems, leafy tops, and slightly bitter, nutty flavour, it’s a classic pairing for rich meats — especially pork and sausages — and a star ingredient in the Apulian pasta dish orecchiette e cime di rapa.
Our friarielli is marinated in oil with just a touch of garlic and chilli, ready to enjoy straight from the jar.
