Wanton Pastry, Frozen Sheets for Dim Sum - These frozen individual sheets of wonton pastry are made in the traditional Guangzhou style, using wanton noodle pastry enriched with egg for a smooth, supple texture and delicious flavour. Once defrosted, they’re ready to wrap around your choice of fillings — from seasoned pork and prawns to fresh vegetables — and can be cooked in a variety of ways.
Perfect for making classic dim sum, they can be boiled for silky soup dumplings, steamed for delicate parcels, or pan‑fried until crisp and golden. Simply defrost, fill, and cook for authentic homemade dim sum in minutes.
Cooking Instructions:
- Remove pastry from freezer and defrost.
- Keep refrigerated and use within 7 days.
- Wrap with your chosen filling.
- Boil: Drop into boiling water until they float, then drain. Serve in hot soup.
- Pan‑fry: Add to a pre‑heated, oiled pan and fry until golden brown.
- Steam: Arrange in a steamer basket and cook until tender.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Water, Egg (5%), Colouring (E160a), Potassium Carbonate (E501), Salt
RECIPE: Crispy Wonton with Sweet and Sour Sauce
Ingredients
1 packet of Wonton Pastry (200g)
175g minced pork
50g peeled shrimps, minced
1 teaspoon salt, pinch of fresh ground white pepper
1 teaspoon soy sauce
600ml (1pint) of vegetable oil
Sweet and Sour Sauce
Instructions
Place minced pork, minced shrimps, salt, pepper and soy sauce in a bowl and beat together until well blended. Place 1 teaspoon of stuffing in the centre of each wonton pastry, gather up the corners and twist to enclose.
Heat oil in a wok, add the wontons and deep-fry about 2 1/2 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels and it's ready to serve with sweet and sour sauce.
